Learn how to connect your Pipedrive CRM account to OutSales for automatic activity syncing.

Connecting Pipedrive

OutSales integrates directly with Pipedrive to sync your activities, contacts, deals, and notes. This connection is required before you can create your first agent.

When You Connect Pipedrive

You will be prompted to connect Pipedrive in two places:

  1. During agent creation -- Step 2 of the agent wizard requires connecting your CRM and email integrations before proceeding.
  2. Settings > Integrations -- You can manage your connections at any time from the Integrations settings page.

Step-by-Step: Connect During Agent Creation

  1. After selecting your agent type in the wizard, click Continue to reach the "Connect Your Software" step.
  2. You will see the CRM (Pipedrive) integration listed with its current status.
  3. Click the Connect button next to "CRM (Pipedrive)."

  1. A popup window will open, taking you to Pipedrive's authorization page.
  2. Log in to your Pipedrive account if you are not already signed in.
  3. Click Allow to grant OutSales access to your Pipedrive data.
  4. The popup will close automatically once the connection is successful.
  5. You will see a green Connected badge next to the CRM integration.

Step-by-Step: Connect from Settings

  1. Click your avatar in the top-right corner of the header.
  2. Select Settings from the dropdown menu.
  3. Click the Integrations tab.
  4. Find the Pipedrive card and click Connect.

  1. Follow the same authorization flow in the popup window.
  2. Once connected, the card will show a green "Connected" badge along with your Pipedrive domain.

What OutSales Accesses in Pipedrive

When you connect Pipedrive, OutSales gets access to:

  • Activities -- To detect new follow-up triggers and sync activity data.
  • Deals -- To pull deal names, values, currencies, and statuses.
  • Persons (Contacts) -- To get contact names and email addresses.
  • Organizations -- To understand the company context for each deal.
  • Notes -- To include relevant notes in AI-generated emails.

Reconnecting an Expired Token

Pipedrive OAuth tokens expire periodically. OutSales automatically refreshes them, but if a refresh fails, you may see a yellow Reconnect button. Simply click it and re-authorize to restore the connection.

Disconnecting Pipedrive

If you need to disconnect your Pipedrive account:

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations.
  2. Click the Disconnect button on the Pipedrive card.
  3. Confirm the disconnection in the dialog that appears.

Your existing data will remain intact, and you can reconnect at any time.

Troubleshooting

  • Popup blocked? Make sure your browser allows popups for OutSales. Check your browser's address bar for a blocked popup notification.
  • Connection not detected? Close the popup manually and wait a few seconds. OutSales polls for connection status automatically.
  • Token expired error? Go to Settings > Integrations and click Reconnect on the Pipedrive card.
