Understanding the Dashboard

A complete guide to navigating the OutSales dashboard, including the agents list, activity tables, and navigation.

Understanding the Dashboard

The OutSales dashboard is your central hub for managing all your AI agents and their activities. This guide walks you through each part of the interface.

The Agents Dashboard

When you log in, you land on the Agents page at /agents. This is your home screen showing all your active agents.

Screenshot placeholder

The header appears on every page and includes:

  • OutSales logo -- Click to return to the main dashboard.
  • Agents button -- A quick link back to the agents list, visible on every page.
  • Search bar -- Search across your agents by name.
  • Credit indicator -- Displays your current credit usage for the billing period (e.g., "45/200") next to your avatar.
  • User menu -- Click your avatar to access Settings, Team, Billing, and Sign Out.

Agent Cards

Each agent is displayed as a card showing the agent name and status. Click on any card to open the agent detail view.

New Agent Button

The + New Agent button in the top-right corner opens the agent creation wizard.

Billing Status Banner

If your account has billing-related notifications, a banner appears below the header. This could indicate:

  • Your trial is ending soon
  • A payment is required due to a past-due subscription
  • Other billing status updates

The banner includes a link to manage your subscription in the billing settings.

Agent Detail View

When you click on an agent, you enter a detail page with the agent name, its activity type, and a Back button to return to the agents list. The detail view has four tabs:

Activities Tab

This is the default tab, showing all activities managed by the agent in a filterable, sortable table.

Filtering options:

  • Time range buttons -- 12 months, 30 days, 7 days, or 24 hours
  • Stage filter chips -- Click on any stage label (Pending, Awaiting Approval, Email Ready, Sent, Completed, Replied, etc.) to filter. Each chip shows a count of matching activities.
  • Due date filters -- All, Overdue, Today, This Week, or Later
  • Filters dropdown -- A dropdown with checkboxes for every status
  • Search field -- Filter by subject, name, email, or notes

Table columns:
